Have there been any 928 clones or reproductions anyone know of, are or you pretty safe in buying a used one?

  Ben, I never have come across a 928 Proxy fake or even one that closely resembles it. I think you're pretty safe picking one up used. You might want to add some pictures to this thread of the one you're looking at so we can get a better idea.

  /|\ Agree with Tim.

  Additionally, not that popular & pricing on remaining inventory fairly reasonable.
