Thank you for being a loyal Benchmade customer. We are sorry to hear about your 710 breaking, unfortunately we do not have any stock left of this blade. After discontinuing a specific model we do keep replacement parts and blades on hand for warranty and Lifesharp purposes, but overtime run out of inventory after a product has been discontinued for several years.

While we are out of this specific model, our customer service team can work with you on additional options we have available. We know this does not replace the sentimental value of your knife, however, we hope to be able to provide a solution that works for you. Please reach out to our customer service team at 1-800-800-7427.

I have a bone collector has some stain mark on the blade. I sent in for the service and you guys didn't do anything about the stain. The blade only got sharpened came back without any note about the stain?

Thankyou for the offer to help me with my broken 710 blade by having me send it in after officially confirming that not one(1)replacement blade is available. Because it is very sentimental to me i have decided to keep it,as such,in its broken, unusable condition and store it away..I thought for sure for a knife that had a production run of close to or more than 20 years, that such an important component of the knife,ie:The blade itself!,would still be available in your warranty department, especially considering it was only discontinued at the end of 2017....so that is just over 2 years..Would my broken 710 be sent back to me with the blade somehow back in one piece with there being no replacement blades available? Confused on your mention of additional options available to me??..Please elaborate on this for me Jason or Ryan....Thankyou

No sense for me to contact or "reach out to",as people trendingly like to say,to the Benchmade Customer Service team when there is, according to several people,No(not 1/one) replacement 710 plain edge blades left in the shop....Stressing,I Do Not Want a different knife to replace this 710 with, which has great sentimental value to me, so at this point it will be retired to my drawer in two pieces(broken blade)as Benchmade warranty service does not have any blades left, therefore No acceptable solution for this, previously Very Loyal customer....Thankyou for all previous comments/advice and have a good day folks.

See what Benchmade has to offer before closing doors.  If they give you a comparable knife you could sell it and buy a new 710 on eBay.  Only difference is instead of replacing the blade you're replacing the whole knife.

If I find myself in the same situation with a sentimental BMK that parts were no longer available and where the only thing BMK customer service was able to offer was a different replacement knife...  I would search the bay for the same model, buy one in the best condition I could and swap the blades between the two knifes. That way I have the original knife with a close to new blade and my sentiments remain. Pretty much the same thing as BMK actually replacing the blade themselves!

If you were to go that way I would be happy to help you search for a good 710D2 on the bay and walk you through the replacement process if you haven't torn one apart.

Definitely not closing doors yet..Benchmade knives has been my fav for over 20 years since i bought my very first,A liner locking ATS-34 Black coated Plain edge bladed 800 series AFCK!! Yep still got..So i will be patient and see if by chance Benchmade can find a blade for me,maybe initially un-noticed at the back of a spare blade bin or swept up off the shop floor perhaps..ya never know! I will check with customer and warranty service every now n often...Thanks guys and have a good one.

Just a heads up! There have been a pretty large number of 710D2s auctioning on the bay lately and they've been ending at some pretty good prices. I picked a flawless new one in the box with pouch and paperwork for less that $150.

I've been watching 4 this last week... So if you find yourself in a predicament of a sentimental 710D2 with a broken blade issue you should be able to find one and do a blade swap.

Hey Tim...you're pretty well versed in the whole watching for and finding wicked deals on "the bay" so maybe one of these times you could maybe grab an extra 710d2 for me and then ship it up to me in a couple separate packs(to avoid all the new knife b.s.we have to now deal with up here...of course i'd have to pay you more for the two seperate packages but that'd sure be a mighty nice way to help me out with my 710d2 plan???? Whatya think??? Any possibility of that in the not so distant future....i'd sure appreciate the kind assistance....Let me know....Thankyou....Robert.
