Benchmade 581 barrage

hello I have a few Benchmade knifes all bought from stores expect one and of course it’s the one I have a question about all of them have the logo on the blade and USA stamped below it between the model number expect my 581 barrage.... my other Benchmade all have it

  I think it may have to do with the blade steel. M390 is an imported steel from Austria so they may not post the USA on the blade because the steel isn't from the USA.

  Ok thanks cause I also own the 586 mini barrage. Got the reg size one to match

  Well that's odd Jason - the 586 I'm carrying right now has the USA under the butterfly and above the 586 on my M390 blade.  I guess decisions were made later in production to drop the USA?  Now I'm going to have to go through my whole 58x collection and update my spreadsheet!

  Same as my 586 that’s why I questioned it on the 581
