Balisong model?
Unsure of what this is, no model number on it. Got it from a buddy of mine. Any ideas will be appreciated. Thanks

I am not butterfly knife expert but the BM butterfly have antenna. That is quiet unusual..

Sorry, double check the knife. They do have antenna.

None of my axis lock BM’s have atennae, but it appears they do on their Balisongs. Most have the 3 digit model # under the butterfly too, but this one does not. Though I did read where some of the earlier ones did not have it either. I really would like to know if this is the real deal, and what model it is.

The butterfly logo has evolved over the years. The current version does not have antennae. However if that was an older BMK it would say Bali-Song, not Benchmade. Knife is definitely not a Benchmade.

It’s fake. And a bad one at that.
PM Jedi he is one of the most knowledgeable on this Forum on .balisongs.
Just because it isn’t a Benchmade doesn’t mean it wouldn’t be fun to swing. Look at Bear balisongs for modesty priced ones

Definitely not Benchmade.
Newer Benchmade non bali's don't have Antenna but the 87's do.Flip it, and then invest in a Real one.

Thank you all for replying. I had my reservations about this knife from the get-go. I didn’t give much for it so I’m not hurt. I bought my first BMK back in the mid 90’s, an auto, which I rarely carried for legal reasons. 3 yrs ago I got a renewed interest in knives and went a bit crazy, buying several more BMK’s. This may sound goofy, but with my interest in this product, it’s only fitting that I include the very flagship model that got it all started, the Balisong. The model 62 is probably as close as I’m gonna get, but Dang! That’s a lotta money. I’m not into fake stuff, so in the junk box this one will go. Since I’m getting close to retirement, maybe I oughta be spending my money on things that preserve my fingers not remove them. Wait a minute, this is dexterity therapy, I’m good.
Thanks guys
