  Looks like it says blue anodized 6061-t6 aluminum.

  Is this identical to exotac's fireROD?  
  The difference is I see two sets of threads.  Will this therefore come with a thread on aluminum rod protector?

  When I zoomed in, what appears to be threads are actually knurling. 

  When I attended the "Get Out" event @ BMK most all the guys had EXOTAC rods on their rigs. Cool to see a BMK Blue version. I'll pick one up for my Bushcrafter.
