    Where's DB...I miss that guy.

    Karp? Over at BF, yea.

    BlueRam..he had some cool posts...remember him rapping..lol..

I know Carson and OBJ still pop their heads in...miss their days of active posting..

    I even miss the Panda

I know some are busy...some are MIA..

I wasnt here in the days of Les posting...that must have been cool.

No real point to the thread..just lazy Sunday forum reflexive.

Those are the characters that were here when I arrived.  The place was warm and welcoming. I miss all of those guys. The place just ain’t the same. It has lost it’s heart.

DB was still here when I came around and he helped me with a lot of stupid questions being a newb.  I enjoyed his shit talking quite a bit.  I tried to talk him into coming back but he promised if Trump got elected he'd peace out.  I guess he was true to his word, and he also mentioned having some ailments that were nagging.

Pascal? w/ all the awesome fishing/seafood pics..710 guy..liked tractors, France..

MadRookie..he had some great food pics..wasn't here long, but had some great posts..serious about sharpening..

M2HSSR..Timmy..Punisher. many more before mine time, I'm sure

Rodent..he was cool..I think Dingo was his last straw..Moon..this is where the butchery begain, I guess?

Still got some heart left..archer, apbt, jedi, sre1, Hammer..and TDOGG..like a ninja shark, always just below the surface....I don't know. No offense to any members..these are just some of the memebers who were very active when I first got here...I still feel like a sophomore.

Seems like some good Youngblood..if the format doesn't run them off..or anything else

I'd be willing to pay a meager annual membership fee to have the old format back..

Do you think we could bribe them...$, or knives? Maybe, if we send them a bunch of cool knives..?

Maybe, if we stop sending them broken Limiteds?

    idk

/|\ LMAO, as I envision Patrick bribing BKC employees with Spyderco & Chinese knock offs.

If you want to go really far back, people like Professor, Tony, and Pete (Ouch) had so much knowledge about the early days it's mind boggling.   I know Pete passed away many years ago now (RIP) but I don't know if they others are still around on different forums or not.  I just know they veered away from Benchmade for their own reasons.

I know there are many I'm just not recalling off the top of my head, but I do miss a lot of those people and what they brought to the forums.

A few years ago, cancer, I was in touch with him, he let me know after he was diagnosed, yes he was a good guy more than most realised, he had a tough life, he told me he never believed he would make it past 60 and he did'nt.

I miss him, he was a good friend.

It would be  nice some of the pages from say 2007 - 2010 were  available for the  newer members to read .

We had a lot of great members that are gone  or inactive now. I remember the first time I met DJ It seemed like I had known  him  for years. There  was a  lot less bickering then and it was just  better ..plain and simple.   But I still buy Benchmades..and  I will hang around to keep up with what's going on,and a lot of the current members  seem like  stand up  guys. I'm  just  older  & listen  more than I talk.
