As expected. I am SO happy to have one of these. The more I carry it the better I like it the smoother it becomes. Thanks Roger and Benchmade for these terrific LE's!

Well, it has been selling since June...
I am shocked it took this long!
It was the 2012 Blade Show BM.
(Hope we see one in 2013!)
1-100 were sold at the BM and KW booth at the show.
It was a pretty big run actually.
IMO the 730 is more of collectors model these days. But many are now users thanks to the M390 blade steel. I was happy to spec the Black G-10 and Satin everything else in Jan at the shot show. I was surprised how many were made though. Was thinking 200 tops, then we get 400! Bam!0 -

There a great Knife if you like Black Scales and I am not shocked that they took so long to sell out at 400 with only one dealer, just the mathematics of distribution if they where divided between a number of dealers there time on the shelf would have been very much reduced...0 -

Love these Ares! I got a couple of each and disagree with the earlier comment that these are mostly collectibles now. They certainly are that! But of all the knives I've carried, the 730-series is the one that keeps showing up in my pocket. It fits my hand, it's the right size for most jobs, and it has that great feel of "class" (which my wife suggest may otherwise be missing from my life!). One of the greatest designs ever! IMHO.... 0 -

Wow. Glad I got my 1203 when I did. I love the m390. I use mine most every day. The next one I want is the 710 with m390. I love it and the cpm m4 in my Contego. I use both knives quite a bit. 0 -

Just a guess, don't know for sure. I think when a web order takes the last one it goes to Temp out of stock. I am guessing it takes a real person to remove it from the web site.0 -
