Question regarding the Benchamde 1100-12

I am fortunate enough to own a Benchmade 1100-12. I am told it is a model which isn't made for commerical sales and is given to Benchmade's business associates. I was curious as to approximately how many of these were produced? Thanks

I believe i have my box for mine. It is in storage at the moment, it would be a bit hard to find just now. If i remember correctly tho, there where no numbers to indicate a run of a certain number of them.

I believe i have seen another member on here with one... but it might have been yours...

I would like very much to see a small flat section to be added to the pen for engraving/laser marking. (perhaps making a flat section in the bottom of the Larger Blood Grooves)
or maybe remove "Benchmade from the clip.. leaving just the butterfly logo towards the top of the cap and leaving the clip free for engraving /etching...

These blue pens were given out by Les only. There are a few floating around out there that found their way out of the building but are generally only in the hands of our FOB's, Friends of Benchmade.

Ryan, thank you very much. Looks like, I am very lucky the FOB's wife put it on eBay without mentioning how special it was. There were no other bidders
Now if board members ask about it, I'll just say Les gave it to me. lol

Oh one more question. I suppose there is also a 1100-11 version with blue tip, is that correct? If so I'll have to keep my eyes peeled.
