Tip: Use an eraser

I don't know if anyone has tried this before but, I used a white eraser to clean some mild stains on rust on my 710 .. And worked very well.

  Never tried it but I have an draftman electric eraser that will work.

  They also work well for mild battery corrosion. From AA, not car batteries.

  IIRC, an eraser is what EdgePro recommends for cleaning their polishing strips. I think they use the brownish ones about the color of a rubber band.

  Ahhhh, for Edge Pro tapes, I use an eraser.... A Mr. Clean magic eraser!
  
  What I found the magic erasers do not work on, the ceramic hone, for that I use a Brillo pad and bar keepers friend/Comet/Ajax.
