EDC method
I have a mini crooked river on order. Thinking about ordering a custom sheath for it. Do most of you just carry your edc with the pocket clip??

/|\ depends on size & weight of the folder.
My usual EDC is 940-1 & use clip. Even carrying the 950 I use the clip.
The longer & heavier 810 goes in a horizontal belt pouch

With a knife the size of the mini crooked river I'd just pocket clip it. Less is more in my opinion and if you scratch up the clip Benchmade will send you a new one for free.

I carry a bedlam in left pocket at 5 3\4" closed, & socp 178 in right pocket at 7 1/4" fixed. The mini crooked river is 4 1/2" closed.

I remove my pocket clips and carry my pocket knives in my pockets. Doesn't matter if it is a mini-grip or a Bedlam. In the pocket it goes.

I've ordered a 15085DLC-1801 Mini Crooked River and am waiting on its arrival also. I currently carry a 556 Mini Grip S20V as my EDC and use the clip with that. I've tried it without the clip and pocket carried it but didn't like fumbling for it. I may remove the clip like Chip mentioned above and just pocket carry the Mini Crooked River depending on how the shape fits in my pocket. If I don't like it and it interferes with other common carry items I may resort to adding the clip back on and tip down carrying it. 3.87" vs 4.50" may make the difference.

Pocket carry with clip. If I don't want it noticed then loose in the pocket. Not in environments where at belt sheath is going to work. I put clips on my multi-tools even...

i usually carry my larger, main knife (810 or 9555) clipped in my front pocket with a smaller, more public friendly (477-1 or 490) in a horizontal sheath at the small of my back.
that being said, i reverse it at work, and the 490 goes in the clipped in the front pocket with the 9555 in a diagonal sheath on my belt. i work in a school so i don’t usually wanna show off the bigger knife if i can help it.

I always carry in my strong hand pocket. Most of the time the knife is the only thing that will go in the pocket, especially if its a bigger one. If I'm carrying a fixed blade I use a sheath. Usually horizontal and the right side of my belt buckle.

Almost all the pants I wear regularly are Tru-Spec brand. They have dedicated knife pockets as well as a lot of other pockets. I carry my knives clipped in the right side knife pocket except for a little Spyderco Dragonfly that I carry clipless in the left side regular pocket.

A Proper in the little bag in my front pocket.

Right side clipped to my belt right next to my Leatherman Mini-Tool (in pouch).
Or
Clipped inside front right pocket.
Many times I will also carry a weak side knife in addition to my right side main carry.
Weak side carries tend to be auto’s & AO knives.

Strong hand side, clipped to the pocket 95% of the time. Once in a while it will be clipped to the waistband with the belt over the top for more secure carry. There's a cost to carrying it in same place all the time:
Some stages of pocket wear

Carhartt pants & shorts seem to hold up well for edc clips, at least for me

If I'm going to go through the hassle of wearing a sheath or pouch on my belt, I'm going to carry a fixed blade.
Folders always go in the pocket with the clip.2 -

Well, I usually carry in front right pocket via clip. To left when I do CPC SIG , H&K or Walther.
