Axis assist spring noise

My new volli is making a creaky noise when closing. Doyour barrages have a creaky noise while opening or closing? It's very quiet. Sounds like the spring needs some lube?

  I've heard nothing like that out of any of my assisted knives; Axis, NItrous, BMK or other...
  
  Try a bit of lube and see what it does after that.

  Yea I'd lube it up first. If'n the noise is still there, send it to the BM spa for a little TLC!

  I have heard that with various of my Axis models when new. May be partly vibration from the Axis pin rubbing on the blade tang. Once the knife breaks in, the tang and pin get polished, and that goes away. Or the omega springs may be rubbing on the liners. I think there is a good chance it will go away with break in. If not, the first thing I would try would be a thorough clean and lube. I'd spray the highest pressure water I have in there, then thoroughly flush with WD40, then I'd spray some graphite lube in there to get the assist spring, then (whew!) I'd lube the pivot with something like Militech.
