Serrations again
I know its been discussed and asked before, but I really would like to know why BM cuts theirs so deep and thus removing a portion of the blade that seems not necessary...in my work I need se..

I asked BMK that same question a couple of years ago and all they could come up with was sometimes it's the geometry of the blade that requires it be placed a certain way so the combo edge is parallel with the plain edge. Sometimes I believe it to be up to the human sharpener on that day. I've actually had BM replace a combo edge with a plain edge because I thought it was cut so deep as to compromise the strength of the blade. 0 -
