Auto Presidio question

I have an Auto Presidio Ultra, my only issue with the knife is the handle material. If I were to buy a Presidio Trainer with the red anodized handles, would they swap over?

  I don't think they will work because there will be no recess for the auto spring in the trainer handles.

  ^^^ Yep no go I tried doing the same thing with Rift auto to swap stuff with a regular Rift and Benchmade CS said they were not compatible.
