I love that blue holographic laser engraving that hovers around the knife. Does it glow in the dark or is just visible in daylight?

First of all, thanks Dave for the post.

I like the design more than I thought I would. I own H&K AXIS 14715, so it reminds me of that. The description you have of the G-10 makes me think two are related. Like the fact it uses deep carry clip (on HK 14715, I asked BKC for 810 clip)

I was hoping Stryker may have S30V option, but BKC 154cm is nice enough.

According to Summer 2014 announcement this knife has very good value, decent bang for Buck.

Well here goes depletion of my knife fund again...

Handled a couple of the new Strykers on the weekend, and was completely surprised about just just grippy/abrasive the scales were. Pictures do not even come close to doing these 'justice'.

I think that I too would consider taking sandpaper to them to 'tone it down' on the grippiness.

Otherwise, I was rather impressed with with. Still not as good as the 910/905 IMHO, but that's just the old school Lightning talking. Not to detract from was is obviously a very good knife, I just like the originals better.

Of course, that means that if/when (ok, when...) I do pick up a new stryker, it will have to be the Tanto. I'm wierd like that, not a huge fan of tanto's in general, but a stryker just doesn't seem to be a stryker with any other blade shape...
