I'm curious to know what steel is used in the 1100-4 stainless pen. 420J or??

  Joe,
  The 1100-4 Stainless pen is made from Brushed 303 stainless steel.

  Joe, I've got the 1100-2 and I will say that it really is amazing. I'd love to get my hands on a steel pen just to feel the weight difference. Feel free to come check out my aluminum version at the store here in Chico.
