Custom knife builder - painted mini grip blades

I saw the announcement for painted barrage blade. Why not mini griptilians? Is it because the barrage has fewer blade shape and steel options?

  That could very well be the reason.
  
  Even in the Barrage's, only the 154cm blade can be coloured, not available on other blade steels.
  
  I suspect (and is only a guess on my part) that if the colours prove out to be a good seller, we will see the option available on more models/steels in the future.
