Renaissance Wax is good to use
Its what I have used .......I was turned onto this stuff by one of our greater knife gurus of this forum.

Renaissance Wax (Ren Wax)is good. Their home office is in London. The British Museum uses it to revive and protect valuable furniture.
It has a mild smell like Kiwi Shoe Wax...but the smell leaves after a while and the Ren Wax leaves a nice sheen.0 -
This is what I use. It's colorless and good on about any handle material, and protects the blades too. It's cheaper than Ren wax and a lot easier to find. 0 -
Lemon oil is for furniture is great as well. Danish oil would work well too. 0 -
I might be mistaken, but would think wooden knife handles from a company like benchmade are already stabilized and sealed, never needing any other treatment.
OTOH, if I felt something was needed, 100% tung oil has always been my preference.0
