Renaissance Wax is good to use

Renaissance Wax (Ren Wax)is good. Their home office is in London. The British Museum uses it to revive and protect valuable furniture.

It has a mild smell like Kiwi Shoe Wax...but the smell leaves after a while and the Ren Wax leaves a nice sheen.

This is what I use. It's colorless and good on about any handle material, and protects the blades too. It's cheaper than Ren wax and a lot easier to find.

Lemon oil is for furniture is great as well. Danish oil would work well too.

I might be mistaken, but would think wooden knife handles from a company like benchmade are already stabilized and sealed, never needing any other treatment.

OTOH, if I felt something was needed, 100% tung oil has always been my preference.
