Clips
Someone mentioned in another thread that "clips are worthy of area 42" and I absolutely agree!
So here it is, let's talk clips.
To kick it off here is a 755 clip that spent some time in special projects. Lightning strike cf inlays and satin finish

I think the biggest thing everyone wants to see is more deep carry pocket clips. Seems like everyone is using them right now and are the new "thing" 0 -

How about a std size split arrow deep carry clip?

That'll be nice. I really don't like those new deep carry versions.0 -
Most important NO painted clips anymore. 0 -
Deep carry options for the standard 3 hole configuration are a must! I would not only request them to replace every clip I had, but would gladly pay way to much for them! 0 -
My favorite clip is just the black oxide benchmade usa clip. Not really into the shiny clips or the deep carry clip. I do think however, the deep and regular carry clips should have the same bolt pattern so you can get the clip of your preference for your knife. 0 -
I'd like to see more satin or black clips, I agree with laser, no more paint. 0 -

Yes, please! Anything but painted.0 -
I like and use that one also dj. We need something like it with the BM touch though. I'd like to see something like this that you could put on any 3 hole BM. No painted ones please, like what's his name said.

Sorry for the poor art work.0 -
Shiny clips are indiscrete.
Painted clips show wear immediately.
Split Arrow Clips can bend sideways under stress.
Black Oxide "Benchmade USA" is a winner and I wish I could swap out everything else for more of those.0 -
Thats correct.
I like short clips. No idea why some are so long? Split arrow deep carry, 2 1/4" max range would be the ****z.
But what do I know.

Well, it all depends. A low rider clip is nice if I don't need folks to know it's attached to a knife. But if I have gloves on or even just for work, I can't get the knife out with a low rider clip. For those knives, I prefer the old style parkerized clip. NOT the painted clip that CS sends even when you ask for a park'd one. The park'd split arrow is ok but it's not as good as the older clips. 0 -

+1 Benchmade USA clips are the best, hands down..
p.s. a little wear showing looks nice, especially on the clips

Yep! don't get me wrong I like a free clip..
but would happily pay 3-5 dollars perclip. the postage alone on one of those padded envelopes is like a 1$ and a half.... errr something like that.0 -

My absolute favourite clip is from the 810; it rides low enough to keep everything from sight, and when in the waistband there is no portion sticking out to jab you when moving a lot.
Would like to see something with a subtle patina, think that would look great.
The low-ride split arrow... love it

Hey Blue, That's a HD 13150 mini hardtail I believe, with some nice custom scales and the clip isn't a STR but one that's close and made by a "USA" maker. Makes quite the nice package.
