814 AFCK
Picked this up in a trade 814S Mini AFCK-ll. It is NIB. Fella even sent me the sales slip when he bought it October 29, 2001. The pictures are pretty bad.

Looks good to me.
Would make for a nice companion to the black bladed one I picked up recently...

Oh! Congratulations! The Mini AFCK is a classic. There's nothing like it anymore.0 -
I think you scored. The mini-AFCK is such a sweet combination of desirable attributes, and it's been discontinued for years.
It looks like 154cm, is that right? the production minis I've seen all had ATS-34 and small round deployment holes.
I have no idea about the valuation of this knife but I imagine that First Production knives are valued by collectors. As this is such an EDC-friendly knife I suppose a lot of them eventually became users, making your brand new one even more special.
But it's not all Yahtzee and Mai Tais, my friend. I send a hearty steel snob sneer towards your pitiful obsolete 154cm which is full of Tungsten and was probably heat treated to a mere Rc56. And a Combo Edge? Harumph! You could probably only cut through two or three dozen auto seat belts before noticing a marked degradation in performance, sir. Serrations are difficult to sharpen! My professional advice to you is to throw it in the garbage and get yourself some S90v, coming soon!
So anyway... What day do you put out your garbage?0 -
I have always liked the mini AFCK. A mini AFCK with an Axis is my most wanted knife. 0 -
Yes 154cm. Garbage goes out today so you better get started, it's a long way from Cal to PA
