First Benchmade
Well my first Benchmade came in the mail todya and I love it.It's the Adamas 275BK.Sorry about the picture being kinda dark I wasnt able to get some pictures before it got later
But one first Benchmade wasnt enough I thought so a few hours later I was at my local dealer looking at some and Picked up this 585BK Mini Barrage and love it too
I carried the Adamas all day though and really for me it wasnt to bad the weight didnt bother me.I'll probably EDC the Barrage mainly on days that I'm working and carry the Adamas on days that I'm off.

You got a great pair. You can carry both and use whichever is appropriate for the situation.0 -
Thanks different and geocyclist. I really like them both and can definitely tell the quality difference between a Benchmade and anything else I've ever carried which was mainly cheap stuff. Today I carried the Barrage and I was extremely happy with the assisted opening. I work at a grocery store and cut a lot of plastic and tape all day (I don't cut cardboard with any of my knives I know it kills an edge so I keep a small box cutter they give us at work when I need to cut cardboard) and it worked great for that. 0 -

Good idea, I use a box cutter for the rough cardboard as well, never mind the costly Benchmades.

Well I want an infidel I just can't afford it LOL. I like the 940 and triage I saw at the dealer but I wanna look at a 710 and 810 before I buy another. 0 -

I am I have two other dealers near me so maybe one of them will have them in stock for me to look at. 0 -
Nice picks, i have both of those and use the heck out of them.
Cardboard is no problem but don't try to make holes in ceiling tiles for air vents with any BK coated blade.. especially the ceramic fireproof ones. My 275 is missing about 3/4" of coating at the tip now.. lol0 -
Welcome to the Benchmade Family 0 -
