    N690 is nowhere near a premium steel. If I remember right, it's somewhere between 440c and 154CM. You basically have a nice, but not rare knife.

    I had one up on BF for sale at $110 that didn't sell for a week before my uncle said he wanted it and I pulled it. I have one myself as well, I haven't gotten to use it much, but I like it so far, N690 acts much like VG-10 as far as edge holding and ease of sharpening.

    Thanks for the replies. I wasn't implying that N690 was a premium steel but was asking if this knife might carry a premium with regards to it's possible collector value because of the N690?

    It's not going to have a premium value without something to make it premium... blade steel, handle material, limited edition (not simply production change). The 10505 has none of those.
