Custom Colors
I really like the idea behind the custom knife maker, but after receiving my first custom knife using that service, I found that the actual color varied from how it looked when I made the knife.
Anyway, if you have a custom grip or barrage could you please post a pic of it so we can see what the color actually looks like?
I will start with royal blue...
I'm personally interested in seeing something in gray and Crimson. Also, is the custom light blue the same as the production light blue? I'm assuming yes but doesn't hurt to ask.

I like that color !
You know even with folks posting pictures the colors are still going to vary from what it is due to your computer and or smart phone a long with the camera used .0 -

Yep, what he said.
It is kind of an issue. I have been somewhat surprised by the colors a couple of times. I think the colors tend to be lighter and brighter than portrayed in pictures. I don't care for the royal blue for that reason, and the light blue is really '67 Caddy, baby jumper blue.
The royal blue does look good as a contrasting back spacer though. The purple is pretty deep purple, the gray a medium to dark grey, one of my favorites so far. The OD green a pretty true dark olive green, another fav.0 -
And Orange is just plain Orange...

I remember some people commenting that the orange was not very vivid or something, not very bright. I've had one orange grip and thought it was great.
Oh, the neon green really pops, if you ever want to go that way.
The white is interesting. I really like my white Grip handle. It feels like a very dense material, the hollow sound on closing is very muted, and it feels nice to me. I sanded off all the ridges around the handle edges. It does tend to get a little brown, I guess from skin oil from my hands, but washes up easily.0 -
Here is custom light blue.... 0 -
See, the idea of two different scale colors seems silly to me, but it actually looks great on a knife. OK now I'm thinking I need a two-tone handle.

Just think it's like having two knifes for the price of one
I think black & grey would be cool
