    Tracked down the manufacturer on the net, I'm very interested to see that polished up on a 710. How does the weight compare to micarta or g10?

    Thanks DOAT, I'm not sure.
    I got this on thE bay and the pattern was not part of the desciption. I do see where the store itself list three different patterns, burl being one.
    But, I don't really know which pattern this is.
    I was able to get some better pics tonight.

    I really like that stuff. What's the texture like? Hows it look if it's not polished?

    I like the busier pattern of the grey slabs, are those 6"-2"-1/4" bars?

    It's kind of epoxy like.
    The pics of the slabs,at the beginning of this thread, show the unpolished material.
    Those slabs seem to come sanded at about 220ish grit.
    You can still see the contrast but the colors are quite subdued.

    Nope....1.5" x 5" x .1875"
