Volli question?? Odd model number??
So I've mentioned around her before that I think the Volli doesn't get enough credit around here. That's just my own little opinion, of course, but hey, I'm entitled to it.
My real question about the knife is about the model number. 1000001?!?! (give or take a 0).
With everything else being 3 or 4 digits, what gives with this? I kind of feel like if it had a more normal model number, people might give it a better chance. Ok, maybe not. But really, I'm sure that they didn't just hold a contest and let the loser pick the model number. I'm sure there's something of a story behind it.
And that's why I'm posting here. Does anyone know the story behind this knife and it's model number? I'd be pretty curious to learn about it.

We had a pretty good discussion about that when the Volli first came out...I don't remember learning anything from it, but you could search up that old thread. 0 -
A) I have no idea about the model #
B) I wholeheartedly agree about this one being underrated. One of the best daily carry BM's to come out in recent years, IMAO. Great for everyday cutting tasks because it's such a good slicer... very comfortable to hold and use... and even pretty easy to close one-handed (or at least one-handed with a leg assist).0 -
The knife is "one in a million..." 0
