Well eazid,

It looks to me that your knife has done some very hard work over those 5 or 6 years to say the least, your post is could almost be used as an Advertisement for Benchmades endurance.

Sort of like the old Timex adds of "It takes a licking and keeps on ticking", I think that I mentioned in another post that my Step-Son just eats though knives because of his work as both as a Landscaper and Volunteer Fireman/Paramedic (Ok well he did until I bought him a 525 and now he wants more..LOL).

Again those pictures should be used by Benchmade as testimony to the 525/523/520 series durability and long lasting, I am very pleased that you chose to share them with us...

The Glock well that's another matter, being an old 1911 man....ROLMAO

Well the piston rod and the Glock were in the shot for perspective. I'm not a brand diehard. I appreciate many types of guns types/makes/models. I can't say the same for knives. Haha

Haha. I'm actually looking to get a 1911 into the collection here fairly soon. But I don't want to get too off topic.
