My new 710 is the packaging correct?

AS pictured today upon opening... I note the layer of formed pebble base is flat. This leaves the knife sliding about the box. My last new BM was a 940 and it had the new lift-off lid/cover. But the 940 had a shaped area cut out so the knife sat more snugly in the box. Is BM cutting packaging costs or do I have a nice copy?

PS: I also received a bali....seperate buy but took a punt on the price...yup....cant even flip it it is so bad. But down here it is really hard to get new genuine BM due to import restrictions.

  The longer knives generally don't get the additional foam insert added, because it doesn't fit well. However, smaller knives, like the 940, do get the additional foam piece.
