Stainless Blades.
Okay, so I've been thinking about this for a while now. I think it would be a good idea for Benchmade to make some of their balisong models with stainless blades. Some of us live in areas unsuited to using D2 or have body chemistry that makes using the steel a bothersome task. I would like to hear the opinions of others on this matter.
I would personally LOVE a Balisong in 154CM or S30V. I've held off on buying a BM bali for the longest time because of the humidity of my home and D2's tendency to rust away on me. Even Benchmade's D2 rusts VERY quickly, despite my best efforts.

BM did produce the 42 in both 154cm and 440C. They are discontinued now but show up often enough on the secondary market. 0 -
^ Yes, but they cost upwards of $300 USD. All I'm suggesting is that Benchmade produce stainless blades in the style of their current balisong models. I think it would be really nice for those of us that live in climates unsuitable for D2, but REALLY want to buy benchmade. 0 -
bm51-1101 is in s30v
and I really like it! been edc'ing bm51 in D2 before.
well, it is limited,
but it is not so expensive, < 3000 -
^ Yeah, that's all well and good, except they made like 200 of the things and I can't FIND one for sale. I wish I COULD, I love the way that thing looks.
I just think It would be a good idea for benchmade to do this, OTHER companies are, and Benchmade was and IS famous for their balisongs. I just KNOW theirs would be the best.0
