It sure has been quiet in here for awhile.
I have to believe people are still ordering customs.

They often post em in the General Discussion section. I'm going to try a 550 but not sure which blade color in about 2 weeks. Just ordered a 940-1501 so have to wait...you see the blade colors...they look great.

Thanks. I have seen some in General, but it seemed odd nobody had posted since June.

I've been using Mini Grips since they came out, which has been quite a few years now. I had never tried a full size Grip,so I decided it was time a few months ago...

It was a great knife, and filled my large hands very nicely, but it didn't fit well in the watch pocket of my blue jeans, which is where I have always carried the minis, so I sold it.

I hope you like yours as much as many others do...

Yup, I do order once in a while. This is only section I can get 550 in Saber Grind.

I think I can call it "Bronze class"

I was thinking about trying a different blade color myself but I am hesitant because of how awful it will look once it gets scratched up. I will be ordering one with a black blade for sure because this is the only way to get the black axis lock and liner set up. I like the black a lot better than the raw steel look.

I've gone through the build numerous times, and selected black axis and liners using a plain uncoated blade, and never had anything come up and say you can't order the knife that way.

You can order any combination of blade finish and liner/Axis/hardware finish. I know, I've seen me do it.
