You mean 51 or 62 or 42 or 53? I don't think there is a 52. if you had a pic that would help 0 -
it the 51. Sorry. In mint with box and, paper work and pouch.
value?0 -
$250 sounds steep for a 51. You can find them from online retailers for less than that. IMHO. 0 -
I showed him online they can be had for 189 shipped. He is taking $110 is that good deal?

If its BNIB and you can get it for $110. Id say buy it. 0 -
Huge price drop, RED FLAG. 0 -
I'd use protection in case it's too good to be true, just saying. 0 -

Good point.
Is this someone online? Looking for a MO as payment?0 -
I would highly value your thoughts on Red Flag? Fake? Other?
thanks0 -
Some good pictures will help a lot. 0 -
I said red flag meaning such a big drop in price makes you wonder. Talking to the Benchmade guys in Vegas last week and they said they've been seeing more and more fakes come in for service. It's certainly possible. It's not unreasonable for you too ask for pictures. I'd also ask if payment with paypal was an option. Technically they forbid balisong knives but at least you have some hope of getting your money back if the seller isn't legit. There's one of the popular knife sites that provides the users IP address. I like to go to IPlookup and see if they are over seas. All too often that is an indicator of a scammer. I had a guy claimed to be in Penn. and his IP was in China. Feel free to pm me info on the seller, I'd be happy to share if I've done business with them. 0 -
He is in my state. He seems like honest guy. What are the visible difference between the real mckoy and a fake? 0 -
There are several. However, anymore the fakes are getting harder to spot. The best thing you could do is ask the guy to send you a lot of pictures. Get the screws, the latch, the markings. Everything. Then post them here. There are a lot of guys who would be able to tell you if its fake or not. 0 -
Also, if he's willing to send a bunch of pictures, it's more likely that he has an actual knife to sell.
The huge price drop is a little fishy sounding, but I've seen guys do that before just because they didn't know what the actual value was when they came up with the original price.
$110 definitely sounds like a good deal to me.0
