    Thank's Neuro.

Good knife but I think I will continue looking for a 710 or 730.

Welcome, Rein1. The biggest selling knife for Benchmade is the Griptilian...the 551, I believe. It is, however, the Volkswagen Beetle of the line...the entry level knife that still allows you to enjoy the Axis lock.

Imo, the flagship of the company is the 710, but such statements are always debated.

Thanks fastjan. I was looking around and noticed the link about the H&K Nitrous Blitz Model 14460BT-1101 and it looked great! I just ordered it from Knifeworks.

I was looking at the 710 but it was a little out of my current price range. Either the 710 or the 732 in M390 will be my next knife.

I think you'll have to get one from DJ because they show to be out of stock in M390 and from what we've been hearing, Benchmade is having trouble with M390 in the manufacturing process.

Lighting, Your pic & "Dr Forthington Pringles" post/pic are why ordered one. I am really looking forward to it as I have been looking for something new for my EDC. My EDC since 95/96 has been a mini AFCK (ATS-34).

fastjan, Hopefully they will get the m390 issue fixed as I would like to see more knives in m390. From what I have been reading it appears to be one of the top steels. If not I will be calling dj to see what he has.

The m390 710's from KW sell out every couple of weeks but to date they have always been replenished within a week or so. They must get them in smaller batches. I just ordered one over Thanksgiving, but have been meaning to get one for some time.
Now to get some custom handles.

    Clint,

You Know that is so true I had held back from buying a 745 a long time, but when I actually got one in my hands I just loved the smooth action and the old school liner lock.

Now I have two put away in my collection and would only sing the praise of the knife now..

That is one of the major issues I have with buying anything over the internet, you loss that sense of touch that gives you the real feel of a knife in your hands (or many other items for that matter).
