Barry,
Just keep posting as much as you like on or about the knife, the more information we can get the better and it helps those of us that are sitting on the side lines to make an informed decision as consumers...
I am almost there in making my mind up on this one as a midsize EDC and your input is extremely helpful thank you..

I do like it I will say that. It is chunky but it isn't too too chunky. I really really like the clip.0 -
hmp..hmp
I got mine in the mail yesterday and it fits my bear paw like hands pretty good.
I really like the shape and sharpness of the blade; of course the flipper is the big thing. Instead of pulling it back, I press it hard like a button and it snaps open pretty fast.
All in all, me likee!

I received mine yesterday and it is very well built. The blade is centered, the blade opens very smoothly with the flipper, thumb studs or axis lock. The scales look very nice, showing off the two tone brown G10. The scales give good grip and have an almost light sandpaper feel. I like the deep carry clip, it rides deep in the pocket. It is a little bit heavy, but feels like it can endure some abuse. The blade is a pretty thick slab of steel, the skeletonized liners are pretty substantial and the scales are fairly thick, making the knife feel fairly substantial in the hand. The blade came very sharp, which Benchmade has been doing very well lately. It's a lot of knife for the money. 0 -

It does not have KVT or IKBS, but it is very smooth the way it is.0 -
May have to look into one of these in the future. I happen to like flippers. They make an excellent guard when the knife is open. Love this design. 0 -
One of the primary issues that i have with this knife is the lack of a solid detent. The action of a solid detent being broken is what causes the flipper to spring into action. It is the same dynamics as snapping your fingers. The axis flipper does work but i find that i need to assist it a bit with a slight flick of my wrist. My peeve is that if i am going to flick my wrist then why use a flipper anyway? just my 2 cents.

Curious... How quickly did the first production run sell out?
