Sweet. Will need some of these. 0 -
If I may make a suggestion...
Move the bead to on top of the tied portion. If it is on the end it tends to flop around more and maybe damage the finish of the knife (especially aluminum).0 -
Love it!

Looks to be live on the accessory page of Benchmade.com 0 -
Looks sweet! However, for me, a lanyard is about making a knife more visible, and the black/gray doesn't do that. Selling just the bead so my son -- who makes those kinds of lanyards -- could make one in more visible colors would be a great idea also. 0 -

Hear, hear. I like the lanyard, but would probably just cut off the paracord to use the bead in my own projects. If the beads were available separately, I'd buy a bunch!
(I called Benchmade customer service, and they suggested I post here to catch the eyes of the product development folks.)0 -
I second the idea. Sell the beads loose. 0 -
Ditto, I have enough paracord lanyards laying around the house! I want ten of those beads but no more lanyards, eh, ill just have to order a few anyway! 0 -

i really like the lanyard as is. I carry lanyards on alot of my knives and the bead at the end will keep the lanyard weighed down and looking nice. I do get what Mark is saying.
if im using a lanyard is for function.0 -
I think selling them on the lanyard is a great idea, most guys don't know how to make stuff like that, nor do they care to learn. For those of us who do, it's easy enough to remove and craft our own design. I'll be making some of my own, along with using the factory lanyard. 0 -

either that or hang on your rearview mirror... now I need to order another for a knife.

The loop could stand to be smaller. The knotwork hangs way too far from the knife to be of any use for controlling the grip. As a pure decoration, its fine, but it could have some utility value as well if it aided in gripping the knife. 0 -
The lanyards are on the long side, but this works very well if you carry the knife in your pocket instead of a pocket clip. The braided knot laps over the top of the pocket, and the weight of the knot and bead keep it in place. Works superbly for drawing the knife. To me this is an excellent way to carry and deploy a big folder. Also provides the opportunity to take the pocket clip off of a knife with an otherwise superb and comfortable handle. I have one of the lanyards on my BC/Presidio. Would be great on a Adamas folder also.
I have also discovered that if you run the loop end through the thong hole, then thread the knot through the loop twice, it makes a sort of double knot that looks very symmetrical, and takes up some of the length. Wish I hadn't busted the camera lense on my cell phone...

Yes, that's how it comes out.
