This has now been used on a few knives - 100h2o, 110h20, 915,916, 551h2o, etc...
And I am very curious as to how it performs compared to 154CM (as a point of comparison, you know - a baseline known steel).
Is edge holding equivalent?
Stain resistance better?
Ductility the same?

I carried my 111H2O quite a bit when I first got it.
It didn't seem to me to hold an edge well at all, I would say quite a bit worse than 154cm - it is super easy to sharpen though.
It would be very interesting to see some real tests.0 -

I feel the same as you, edge retention is definitely less than impressive. I wish I could put a Rift or Contego blade on my Triage.0 -
It doesn't hold an edge to save its life. I don't really like it. 0
