808 Loco test
I was waiting for Peter to showcase some of last year's more robust releases, as in the Loco, not to mention the Vicar. Two capable knives I'd like to see put through their paces.
With the Vicar discontinued now, Peter seems to get an easy out.
The Loco has become a favorite amongst those who own it, for obvious reasons. Those looking for a tactical beast gravitate twoards it for good reason. It even shares some similar AXIS hardware to the Adamas.
But you guys don't need me to run my mouth about it.
You need to see a 808 test video - where Peter goes Loco.

Not a test, but feature description by BKC's Derrick.

Thanks MFL.
I of course have seen these, being the fanboy I am...
But these will have to suffice in the meantime, to keep the other guys' attention until Peter hooks us up.

Didn't I post few videos already?
If you are looking for "abuse" video, may be those Russian guys tested Adamas can try.
Dimension wise, Loco is close to Adamas. If you have seen fixed Contego or Vicar, S30V is not a whimsical steel, so you can be sure of toughness enough for many uses.
It's corrosion resistant ability seems enough and wear resilience test was done with Hunt series test.quote:Originally posted by Marty McFly:quote:Originally posted by Mobile Firelord:

Yes yes... all good MFL. Thanks for those...
I already know what the 808 is capable of. Carried it nearly every day last year.
Just wish we could see Peter going Loco in the test lab...
Mostly, just want the Loco to be showcased and get some time in the spotlight.
I really hope the Loco isn't discontinued any time soon.
Still an underrated knife IMO.
An excellent one at that.0
