In my past experiences when someone's offered to straighten me out it's usually followed with punches.

    Thanks Jason.

If you ever come visit, we can definitely step outside for some lively fisticuffs, if that's to your liking.

I've watched a few tour videos, but you guys are really trying to spice things up lately.

What happens when they add beer at the block party?!?

Yep. Knifeworks isn't getting any business from me anymore. Sorry to hear about your experiences. Was that 757 the one you had benchmade repair recently? I've had great transactions with Smokey Mountain. Unfortunately knifeworks was the only dealer who had the 87 still available at the time I pre-ordered. Maybe that was a sign of preference.

/|\ Nate, sorry to admit I share you sentiments.
I miss calling up & having a conversation with Roger & being able to talk knives.
He knew I was picky & check over the knife before it was mailed out.
Because they were out of stock on a couple of recent knives I wanted I went to other dealers & both those transactions were top rate. Where as 1/2 my purchases in the last 18 months from Roger's shop had to be returned as quality was off the mark.
So next buy I trying one of the shops who's service was impressive.

I stopped buying knives from them. I bought a 62 (yeah I actually love the 6X series) from them with obvious flipping time on it. Had latch marks on the safe handle. Yeah, I flip it and it has some marks on it from doing so, but when your spending good money on a rad knife, you expect a new knife. Not one some mook was playing with before getting it off to a customer. Knifeworks is the only site I've received less than exactly new knives from.

I guess what's worse is that Benchmade is the one who looks bad when a crummy dealer decides to alter the product or sell used merchandise. Integrity first and only, everything else is just a cherade.

It's funny you should ask.. we actually had a tour space opening gig last summer and we had a Benchmade beer there! EDC Pale Ale. It was pretty good.
