Poss. 940 LE Micarta Scale Options

Questions came up in another thread in what options to go with regarding micarta on future 940 LE's.. What would you guys do if u had a knife wizard build one?

Colors?
Micarta materials?
Bolsters?
Half micarta / half Ti, aluminum, etc.

I don't think micarta was ever used on a 940, might spark an interesting scale design

The only reason I suggested Micarta in other post is because in the last 6 months I've gotten two different after market Grips. Cuscadi(vintage green)& Keyman(paper). They are very durable, sleek, & can be cleaned(M390 stainless too). I would do a ranger green, red or black finish. Any color standoffs you want. Lightweight & affordable. Just my take.

The thinness and small liners of a 940 combined with the flexibility of canvas micarta lead me to believe it wouldn't be a great combo. Better off going with G10 if you don't have full liners I think. At least at this thickness.

With what there doing with G-10 these days, I would go G-10. Micarta just isn't as popular as it used to be. Not sure why, but you just don't see all that much of it these days on folders.
(Next month will be one year waiting for a 940 in G-10)With no real date in site........
