How Outstanding is Benchmade's LIfesharp Service?

-
Well they could come pick up the knives in a stretch limo with hot tub.

Isn't that really more of a nice thing for us though, Bill? 0 -
Yes, you too deserved to be pampered as much as the knives. 0 -
Blush! Aww shucks, Bill!
Hahahaha.0 -
Shush Bill
Now all you are doing is giving Jason and crew swollen heads...

Then again, who am I to argue? 0 -
They really are fantastic.

Have any of you guys ever sent in one of your gold class knives for sharpening? I'm considering sending one of mine, but I wouldn't need them to replace any DLC coated parts..

I can't speak for lifesharp, but I once contacted them and asked if I could swap out my blade on my Rift if I offered to pay extra for it. They did decline based on the fact that it would now be a custom knife, but what they did do was offer me a 40% off next purchase on their website. Good show, Benchmade. That's how I funded my current work knife (Nakamura)

/|\ BKC has
1) fixed a blade that didn’t seat right when closed ( point wasn’t protected) took 3 tries & they had to get Mick to fix it. Great now, worth the wait.
2) I messed up my Proxy ( wanted fuller engagement of lock on blade)
The liner lock has adjustment on it but I couldn’t figure it out
3) they did put in a plain edge blade on a 530 LE that originally came with a partial serrations. I wanted & paid for uncoated plain edge. They returned plain edge coated as original blade was coated as CSthought black blade looked better ( no up charge to me, so no complaints)
4) have sent in a few rescue knives for new blade & spa treatment. Excellent work👍🏻.
My only fear sending knives in is getting lost or stolen in transit.
