New BM!
I am currently in Sevierville TN an I went to a knife store.
I hadn't had a chance to handle some of the new products in person so it was nice to see them all in one place.
I ended up buying a new 551bk-1. I was truly impressed by the new g10 handles. I had never been able to see them in person until today. I have to give a shout out to everyone involved in this project because they are great!
I know I'm a little late to the game on these but I thought it was worth saying because it was such an improvement for the 551. I have had a few grips but never crazy about the plastic handles.

I love the new scale too.

Although, I prefer 550 over 551, I see that G10 scale is better contoured. Grivory feels odd initially, but after parting agent wears off, it isn't bad. Especially under wet condition, it still retains substantial traction.0 -
I agree MFL, I was never disappointed in the amount of grip in my original grips. I simply didn't like the sound it made, seemed cheap. This knife keeps the same ergo's and secure feeling without the excess jimping all over. 0 -
Best all round production folding knife!
IMHO

As far as production folders go I think I might have to agree with you Po! I am truly impressed with this knife. Still love the new 810 Forum Knife but being production I don't have to worry about replacing this one if something was to happen. 0 -
Went back again today, came home with an 860sbk.
It is one heck of a knife, with all the hype in other threads in figured I'd give it a try.0 -

You should never leave the store with just one new knife because all that means is you have to go back the next day.
And Bedlams are definitely hot.0 -
It's hard to pick just one but I figured I'd give it a night to think it over.
I'm not sure how much I'll end up actually carrying the bedlam because of people's reactions but it sure is cool.0 -
Just thought I'd share some pics of the new one's, since I finally found out how to do it from my phone. 0 -
There ya go buddy. Congrats.
Nice job on the photos, and props for rockin' that Bedlam. Well done.
