Bedlam Fever FAQ
With Bedlam fever sweeping the world, we have seen questions on the board about what is bedlam fever? Hopefully, this will help.
What is Bedlam fever?
Obviously, it is when you have your mind on your Bedlam and your Bedlam on your mind, to the exclusion of all else.
Is it dangerous?
There are no reported deaths, but there are zero reported recoveries. The current strain is the particularly communicable FIXED BEDLAM fever.
Where did it come from?
Nobody knows, but there were early cases in Israel, the Eastern United States and even some guy who is always riding the trail bossing people around. The poor trailboss got it so bad his Bedlam became swollen, red, and seized up becoming the first confirmed case of FIXED BEDLAM fever.
But Canada is safe, right?
No. There is already a confirmed early infection somewhere out in the woods on what our Northern neighbors call a "tree stand".
But, what if I make it across the Rockies to Oregon?
Too late, there was a confirmed case in Oregon City this morning.
What can I do?
Some people have bought bedlams. Others are trying to modify their broken (some people call them folding) bedlam into a FIXED BEDLAM by finding sticks to shove in the "handle groove" and pouring crazy glue into the "do-hicky" on the handle that allows the blade to swing free (some people call this the axis lock). This is not recommended. There was an injury just this morning in Virginia.
The best course of action is for Benchmade to just go ahead and make a FIXED BEDLAM.
What about the guys saying "I don't have Bedlam fever and I think I am not going to catch it."?
Don't listen to these guys. Everybody gets Bedlam fever sooner or later. You may being sitting at your computer right now thinking, "oh my mini-griptilian, sequel, 530, etc. is all the knife I need." But be honest. In the back of your head, you know your knife could be bigger, with more Bedlamness, and wouldn't it be nice if it didn't keep closing on your hand, if it could be somehow fixed?
Too late, if you have read this far, you have bedlam fever.
Now get over to the FIXED BEDLAM thread and start asking for your medicine, a FIXED BEDLAM.

@ Chip, just do what I do: shove some zip ties through the axis bar slot and cinch them down tight. It's not exactly
, a FIXED BEDLAM
but it'll do until BM realizes the need for a
FIXED BEDLAM
