Re-blade options

Is there a choice of blade steels for a Griptilian re-blade?

I see the offer M4 and 20CV in the custom shop now. Has anyone done a re-blade to one of these steels?

  I don't believe they will upgrade you.

  The only way to get the upgraded steel is if the grip originally came from the custom shop. In which case you can have upgraded blades or handles. I have a M4 555 with G10 handles on its way.

  I don't know if "re-blading" can refer to a DIY solution, but you can certainly do the job yourself. If you get a Grip with the scales you want and another with the blade you want, you can make a FrankenGrip as many forumites have already.
