Benchmade Limited Edition 530-1301
I just ordered a 530-1301 which has damascus, with green/black g10. I had never seen then for sale before so I am guessing its new. Didn't say if it was a gold class but with damascus I am guessing it is. Can anyone give me some info on it like when it was released?

I like that. I've never cared for the 530 but with the g10 it looks real nice. If they come out with a more standard version with g10 I'd probably try one. 0 -
I bet they did a run of these items with the g-10 that they got for the Recon 1 exclusive. The 530 looks like the blade from the gold class. I also here they may do a run using the cf handles and standard blades. so swapping parts to make new blades configs! sweet!!!! 0 -

Ya I have seen it and the more I look at it the less I like it, the Gold Class version was Much Better IMO...

I agree that the gold class one looks better but it also cost over $400 and this one was $255. I most likely will just hold onto it and display it for a while then sell it later on.

I like the handle a lot, but not with the stainless Damascus blade...
I'd love to get my paws on one, and do a blade swap with a 530SBK blade, that would be gnarley!
...but then you would be stuck with a stainless Damascus blade in a cheap plastic handle. That don't sound good.

They REALLY need to make one of these with a user blade. CF or G10 version with M4... I would buy that in an instant. 0 -

I agree, there isn't anything at all wrong with it...it's just me. I don't like that pattern with the two tone green G-10. Doesn't look right to me.0 -

The extra 150 dollars is really my main issue with it. If it was 150-200 dollars, I'd buy it immediately. I figure that's the price point we'd be looking at if it was M4. As it is though, you're paying at least an extra 150 for a steel that's probably good but not as good as M4 or M390. Also, I'd need them to make the knife a little more available and some notice of when it's coming out... so I could actually get one.

Thanks for the video! That is a pretty blade, and it looks great with that handle in the video. Wish I had been able to find one now, I would pick one up. Still should be an all-black knife in my opinion, though. 
I'm surprised they didn't finish the joint between the two handle sides better. On the gold class you can hardly tell there's a joint at all. I'd be tempted to take a file and some sand paper to it.0 -
I got a chance to play with one at a store and its a very good looking knife, I think the g10 is better looking than the cf. The green and black go well with the damascus blade 
Unfortunately there was a price gouge on the low serial number at the store. But very nice blade indeed.0 -

Nice buy, if it's number 1, it was probably worth what you payed. Give it a year or two, if you sell it you'll probably get more than your money back.
Do us all a favor and take that outside tomorrow, take some nice daytime pictures. It's upsetting that I've yet to see really good pictures of this one or the CF one.0 -
