Have any of you all owned a 10600 snipe or any of the red class knives. I was going to by one for a buddy for a wedding present. I wasn't sure if I should go with a red class one or buy something else.

At least a blue or black class. A custom grip would be a nice touch as well.

I would buy him a grip, but I was trying not to spend as much money with just having a newborn.

Would be a decent option. I would also consider the VEX if you are trying to stay in budget and can find one.

Any BKC knife would be a nice gift.

As far as I know, the snipe (and all Red class knives) went out of production a few years ago now, so the secondary market will be the only choice.

OBJ Viking had stocked up and was giving them to nephews and nieces as birthday presents and such for a while. Might be worth shooting him a pm to see if he has any left.
