The reason I am wanting M390 is the following.

1. Benchmade has been releasing on regular production. (581, 586) This is to me I feel they are confident in manufacturing and QA logistics right.

2. Recent "exclusive" run, less than production, but more long term than LE may indicate BMC to have learning on taking M390 as flagship steel. (BM folks, please correct me if I am off base.

3. I still love CPM-M4. I like blade in this metal, but it is NOT stainless.

I don't own S110V knife. From metallurgy researches, it is very high up there. But introducing into production may not be as cost effective to any semi regular production. I can see if BM decided to introduce in LE and "wait and see".

On the other hand, if CPM-154 is less expensive, and HT process is very similar to 154CM, then from cost effective viewpoint, it would be another "ideal" update on existing lineup.

They were testing with it a while back. Just wishful thinking regarding seeing some new materials.

Something, I would be up for new models with new materials as well.
