757 Vicar
So I've been watching the exchange section of this forum and another popular one for awhile. I almost never see a 757 come up, which makes me wonder...
1. Is this model not that popular?
2. Do collectors not let it go?
Or perhaps both?

Ive noticed this as well. I was thinking of picking one up on the secondary..few and far between..I think I found one, once..up for trade on another board..
As to your questions..Im sure I dont know.0 -
I would say yes it is not that popular, and yes, nobody is letting them go once they've got them. Awsome knife. I love it, and I have very little use for liner locks. The production quality is amazing. 0 -
Thanks! I build my BM collection for me, but I'm always thinking about if its resellable. 0 -
The 757 is awesome. For some reason, I sold mine a while back. I regret that, and will probably buy another at some point. 0 -
There one BNIB for sale on USN forum. 0 -
Also here.
Look at this on eBay http://www.ebay.com/itm/1220759469710 -
I love mine, it's a beast! My only complaint is the scales are super grippy so clipping it is a PITA... some have sanded their smoother to eliminate this, but I have not. I just use it in a separate pocket in my jeans, otherwise I carry something different. 0 -
You guys are killing me. I'm already shopping an 860 that I don't need. I made the mistake of handling a Vicar in a retail store..was very awesome..big fan of BM liner locks...would never have thought I'd feel that way 5+ years ago. Thankfully it was full MSRP...easy to walk..
I feel in love w/ the 800's and wished BM would update w/ beefed liners..maybe it was staring me in the face the whole time...
With all this and the FK ready to drop, I think it's fair to say that my quarterly knife budget has destructed.0 -
Yeah, they don't come up often.
That is a shame though, I do want one, just never had the funds to pick one up the same time I found on available.
Although, I would find the funds if I came across one with the R&D complex grind blade version came available...
The production drop point, not so much. That will be a right place (price), right time thing.0 -
As soon as I handled the 757 I was hooked. It has a certain place in my collection and I will not part with it. Great knife. 0 -
I like the Shane's design of the blade in general, almost like big brother to Adamas.
Like Po has mentioned, not much care for liner / Frame lock. Yes, I am AXIS lock addict.
