I took these out to breathe today while waiting for my display cases to be finished .

I'm definitely going try to get a group shot of mine tomorrow if my new one comes. Here's a pretty old shot, I have a lot more and have got rid of some of these now... but I didn't want you to think no one cares about your thread.
And a shot of my carbon ones together... although I have a newer non serrated 770 now and the 960CFP has moved on to a different owner. And my 940D2CF is on it's way to me now.

ooh 960 CFP! I need one,the feel on those is amazing but could never bring myself to carry one
Very nice carbon lineup. Hardly ever see the 770SBC1 configuration.0 -
I totally would have carried the CFP... no problem. (I payed very little for it because it had no box or certificate.) The catch is... a CFP does not have a clip. Kind of ruined everything for me. So I traded it for a sebenza insingo which does get pocket time.
The serrated 770 is from when I first got into knives... I was young... thought serrations were cool. More I got into I realized I never use the serrations, started to dislike the way they look and started to miss the amount of blade they make you lose. Shifted to the opinion most have, they'd rather have a plain edge. I've since switched it out for a plain edge one... as a bonus it has the newer rounded handle which I like much much more.

What scales are on the lower 525? Also, someday I'd really like to have a gold grip with M4 ritter blade, such an awesome combo. And I always love the 760 reground into a rounded blade. A lot of nice knives there. 0 -
Old pic. Nothing fancy.

They must be the cf gold class 525 scales because they look exactly like them. When I bought them they were on a regular 525BK and had the black standoff's. I recall someone sending in their gold class to BM for the BK treatment. I think that knife might of been one of those requested swaps.0 -
I recall seeing one like you described on ebay awhile back. It confused me with the CF scales and normal blade. I wanted to bid but had no money at the time. However it came to be that's a really nice combo with the M4 blade. 0 -

This is how I usually store mine, only hanging on a wall in my room normally. There's a couple non benchmades hiding in there too.
And here's a shot where you can actually see them.
42, 140D2SBK, 710-2, 100SH20-BLK, 950-1201, 730-1202 LSCF, 915, 53, 940D2CF Proto, 940D2-902, 557BK Toxic Green G10, 13960 HD logos removed, 525 Blue/black G10, 960-801, 907, 558DLCM4 CF, 558DLCM4 OD Green Micarta, 770BC1, 211 gray/black G10
That's pretty much all of them other than a few I keep in my cars.
And my new carbon fiber group

I'd like to take a group shot but the time it would take unboxing and reboxing prevents me from doing so. 0 -

I bought my first Benchmade in 1997 or so. I continued to buy them where I could until 2010 when I got here. After 13 years of collecting, my Benchmade group photo looked like this:
And then I got here.. This next photo was taken several months ago and a good 20-30 knives are no longer here, but there's also 20+ that aren't in the photo either so it probably gets close to evening out.
Somewhere in between I got the idea to make a butterfly using Benchmades.. that picture is below and is the last one I'll link.

Very nice, Carson. Really like the flutterby

Wow, you need a display cabinet! Nice collection. 0 -
Carson,
Is that the status of your collection now, or is it when it was at it's peak (if you don't mind me asking)..??0 -
I'm not sure exactly how to answer... there were 150 knives in that picture... sold around 30 since the pic was taken, but added around 20 others also (730-1202, forum knives for instance)... I'm down some overall, but probably still retain 140-ish. 0 -
Carson, wow man. That's impressive! 0 -

Well Carson,
I guess it might be time for a new and updated picture session, that is an impressive collection and thank you for sharing it with us...

You guess incorrectly! There are several hours involved in unboxing, setting up, picture taking, and reboxing on a group of 100+. Special ocassions only at this point. 0 -
Hey Carson, would you happen to still have that satin finish 275 Sibert in your collection? If so could you post a couple of pics of that one? I like the 275 design but the option of a black blade only prohibits me from a purchase. 0
