Are the regular black oxide clips now being produced without the USA stamp?

If my eyes deceive me and this clip is painted...

Are painted clips now standard on 940s?

  I am also curious about this also. I saw someone on Facebook selling multiples of these and while the standoffs and blade look legit, that clip is the style that is showing up on the clones.

  Yeah, that's my suspicion as well..
  
  Could be the lighting and its actually painted.
  
  Still the wrong clip for the knife I think.

  I just bought a 940-1 with the same clip. Its black oxide and not painted. Im guessing they have made a switch or I got a fake. I would like to hear someone from Benchmade chime in on this though.
