None taken. I'll share some of the responsibility however as a seller myself, I always do my best to disclose minor and major defects so the buyer has no major surprises when the merchandise is received. In this case it was handle play bad enough for the t-latch to get caught between the two handles seperating them when trying to attempt a basic opening.

I didn't even realize that this post had existed. Even though it's old, I think it's better if I at least defend myself to some extent.

First of all, Alteredlines should have been patient and waited for me to reply to email. He's in California and I'm in Georgia. He may be on his lunch break or vacation or something, but I was at work. He send me a spam of emails within 30 mins. That goes without saying that there's a massive time difference.

Secondly, I have no experience in Balisongs besides the cheap fleamarket stuff. The 259 was my first brand named bali. I just didn't care for them, so I decided to let it go. I don't even know what to look for or disclose for balis. Had I known then I would have disclosed the play and such. I stated the cosmetic flaws and condition. I didn't state the blade play, because I don't know what a good one should look or feel like. I saw that it was Benchmade, so I didn't have any doubt about quality. He should have asked me about those little things. I have never seen a balisong sales thread that states the blade play that's why I didn't think anything about it. Just as Enforcer stated, It's the buyer's responsibility to ask.

I'm not out there to scam people. I just wanted to pass along something that other forum members would appreciate and enjoy more than me.
