Does Benchmade plan to continue using M390 in more models?.

    I hope so.

    Had a 710 in M390...gone. (single tear)

    Missed the 730 in the steel.

    Either of those would hold me over for sure.

    M390 is my favorite steel offering from BM
    It looks like they will keep using it.

    Can't wait for the 940-1 to try out S90V? And it's promising that it is in the line as a production model and not just a limited run

    It's wonderful stuff. Seems like dream steel to me, tougher and more wear resistant than S30V, and easier to sharpen. It's like sharpening 420 or something, the way the stuff responds to the stone.

    That's weird. I keep hearing different things. Some people say it is easy to sharpen, and others say its hard

    Really?

    I think it sharpens quicker than D-2, and you don't have to strop over and over to polish the edge like you do with S30V. I think it is a lot easier than either to sharpen.

    It would be a dream come true if Benchmade would do another run of the 805 and 806 with the stock black scales with M390

    Mmmm Im with you here! Wouldnt that be great. I love the 806-1101's I have. But something all black would be cool.

    Im all for more LE M390 knives.
