Limited Grips in the Works
So I just found out that the CampPerry Grips will get the Model #551-1304
. And since we know the SHOT Grips were #551-1301
...
This leads me to believe there are at least 2 more LE Grips in the works, which would make 2013 an AWESOME year for Us + Benchmade
THANK YOU FOR LISTENING TO YOUR CUSTOMERS' FEEDBACK BM
So, let the rumors fly! Does anybody have any insider info or know what the other 2 configurations might?

The 2 others already came to market. 03(M4 blade) sold out @GP and 02(S30v/grey scales) are still available @KW. 0 -
Dang It, I just answered my own question!
I forgot about the KW 1302 Grey S30V and GP 1303 Black M4 LEs respectively.
Well still excited for the CampPerry
Yup, had completely forgotten Tony. Thank you!0 -

I wish they'd sell that handle without the Camp Perry blade.

I expect a deluge of Camp Perry blades in black noryl handles on the WTS thread. I like the steel but the logo....

Fingers crossed for a killer Blade show knife like last year! But for the life of me, I just dont see it.
Really miss the truly special knives like we have gotten used to. Nothing lately has caused much of a stirr IMO......
Just my 2............0 -
I'd still like to see a full size Ritter in a satin M390.
Oh, the things I could do with something like that.

Wasn't it the 730-1202? 0 -
At least, I seem to recall the first 100 being taken to Blade and the others selling through KW after that... not sure if that makes it a specific "Blade Show Knife" or just one that debuted there. 0 -

It's like you read my mind
I too am hoping for M390 on a Stonewashed Ritter and Satin for a 940 this year... Fingers crossed!0 -
The blade-swapped left-overs described above are a foregone conclusion. That's why I bailed on this particular knife. I think the handle looks great, but I didn't want to go through all the hassle of locating and buying another M4 Grip and then selling off the remains.quote:Originally posted by Diamond:quote:I expect a deluge of Camp Perry blades in black noryl handles on the WTS thread

I don't thing a Blade Show knife will have a Ritter blade. Historically, those have only sold through pre-set channels of distribution. Aren't Blade Show knives open to "any" dealer who places a large enough order?0 -
Thanks, Skywalker. Unfortunately, without a picture it's not ringing a bell for me.quote:Originally posted by Skywalker:

You are correct. KW LE that was debuted at Blade show.
I don't think he sold as many as he thought he would, because when it was over and he shipped me one I still got #350 -
What is that, Skywalker...an M390 Wookie knife?

And I have to say that M390 seems to be the steel that cuts most like a lightsaber for me.
Neuro, I was actually surprised at how long it took them to go through all 400 (+116 or however many -1203 it was that were released), considering the awesome steel and that the Ares's been out of production. Not complaining, gave me enough time to afford one of each.0 -
I would love to stumble on to one of those 730's! 0 -
Ya me too. I somehow missed out on those 730s as well On KW one day w/ no $$$ & gone as soon as I had funds.

Ares-schmares! ...don't even own one. Back to topic...
The KW 551-1302 however is in my current top five.
I have five Grip flavors, and two more on order, the Camp Nevermind LE and a custom satin D2 for blade swap with it.
Custom/limited Grips are my favorite Benchmades right now...and the Volli, 586, and 525.0
