Another excellent video. I still say I'd like to see a test on a knife that doesn't have full liners. Like the 940.

Interesting how the lock failed even though it was with excessive force. Versus how the blade tang of the 300 broke. I wonder if a 300 in d2 blade steel would then have a lock failure like the 275 versus the blade breaking.

I think the differance is in the thickness of materials used, the thickness of the 275 blade and tang allows it to with stand this kind of preasure.

There are at least a couple of USN forumites that like to down play this test but it's only because they are fanboys of there own particular knife brands, religiously!!

"Put your money where you mouth is", is my motto and I would love to see brands like Emerson, Strider, Chris Reeve put their knives through these tests.

Sweet mercy, it appears my raving about the BM 275 is justified. This rivals the tri-ad lock [another great lock] in strength (while being much smoother).

Honestly, at the price point, the 275 cannot be beat in terms of a tank-like hard use folder. I'd take one over a Strider, Hinderer, ZT, and most customers. Pure engineering genius.

We don't always do every test that is requested of us, believe me we've gotten some interesting suggestions, but in this case you raise a good point. Cartridge liners vs full liners? Interesting... We had already tested the 940 (my EDC of choice), but felt that sharing a video with some data was worth breaking another knife. So thanks for the input and enjoy. I'll be posting that video in about 30 seconds.

When these videos get out in the wild you are going to have a hard time keeping up with demand for this blade and the Bushcrafter 162.
